A brand for the area to improve marketing of products and services

The Tarnava Mare umbrella brand is helping create an identity for the area, symbolising in the minds of local people and of consumers the link between nature conservation and community prosperity, and between good environmental practices, high-quality local products, and market/prices.

In consultation with the Tarnava Mare Local Action Group, a brand has been created to unify the products of the area - both food and recreation - and promote the local economy through integrated marketing.  This brand is being used among other things on road signs, interpretation panels and product labels. 
This has already led to significantly improved prices and sales among local micro-enterprises, including small-scale farmers/producers and agro-tourism entrepreneurs.
