ASTRA Museum in Sibiu organized the event “Beautiful. Ceramic. Useful”, attended by over 12.000 visitors. Almost 100 children took part at the interactive pottery workshops. Saschiz Pottery Centre was the special host of the event. ADEPT potter Marinel did open air demonstrations and interacted with all the visitors promoting our pottery workshop.
We carried out demonstrations and workshops for children from local schools and for tourists (during the Haferland Week, during the TBT race)
Some teachers visited the Center, planning to include it in their yearly activities for the special week called „Scoala Altfell”, when teachers organize different activities and excursions with their pupils. They were delighted with the possibility to bring the children in the pottery workshop and organize this additional educational activity.
