Fundatia ADEPT, founded in 2004, is a biodiversity conservation and rural development NGO based in Saschiz, Romania. Our aim is to give the High Nature Value Farmed Landscapes of Transylvania and their communities an economic future and relevance in the 21st century without sacrificing their sustainability and productivity. These landscapes are an important model for future productive and sustainable farming in Europe.

Beautiful. Ceramic. Useful – ASTRA Museum
20 July 2016, Sibiu

ASTRA Museum in Sibiu organized the event “Beautiful. Ceramic. Useful”, attended by over 12.000 visitors. Almost 100 children took part at the interactive pottery workshops. Saschiz Pottery Centre was the special host of the event. ADEPT potter Marinel did open air demonstrations and interacted with all the visitors promoting our pottery workshop. We carried out demonstrations and workshops for children from local schools and for tourists (during the Haferland Week, during the TBT race).

Romania Cross Visit, AgriSpin Project
4-7 July 2016, Sighisoara

10 people attended, from 8 different countries (Italy, Spain, Holland, Germany, Greece, Finland, UK, Ireland). The AgriSpin Project aims at creating space for agricultural innovations, “through amplifying good examples of innovation support systems and through multi-actor learning about ways to stimulate innovation and remove obstacles” (AGRISPIN Grant Agreement).
