TBT Race, 3rd Edition

The 3rd edition of TBT Race took  place on 20 August, starting and finishing in Saschiz and counted almost 500 participants. Two trails: a 75 km one for the advanced competitors and a 40 km  one for the beginners. The route passed through areas designated as bike trail network, grassy hills , forest roads, streets of old villages, the fortified churches' courts, and the long route will pass through Saschiz fortified church, up on the hill.

Hafferland Week

Haferland Week is one of the largest festivals  dedicated to the cultural heritage of the Transylvanian Saxons held annually in our region. Tickets sold by Women’s Association of Saschiz, who used the €2,000 profit for social purposes.

Beautiful. Ceramic. Useful – ASTRA Museum

ASTRA Museum in Sibiu organized the event “Beautiful. Ceramic. Useful”, attended by over 12.000 visitors. Almost 100 children took part at the interactive pottery workshops. Saschiz Pottery Centre was the special host of the event. ADEPT potter Marinel did open air demonstrations and interacted with all the visitors promoting our pottery workshop. We carried out demonstrations and workshops for children from local schools and for tourists (during the Haferland Week, during the TBT race).
