Fundatia ADEPT, founded in 2004, is a biodiversity conservation and rural development NGO based in Saschiz, Romania. Our aim is to give the High Nature Value Farmed Landscapes of Transylvania and their communities an economic future and relevance in the 21st century without sacrificing their sustainability and productivity. Fundatia ADEPT Transilvania – Best Rural Development Award, Romania Insider Awards Gala 2018

The trophy for Best Rural Development Award powered by Crédit Agricole, handed over by Mr. Luc Beiso, the CEO of Crédit Agricole, was received by Transylvania Mountain Bike Trail by Fundatia Adept. The winning project is a 100-kilometer bike trail connecting 8 villages in Central Romania, together with a dedicated yearly Mountain Bike Trail competition.
