The workshop was organised under the Project – Ecosystem Services from High Nature Value Farmland – Green Industry in Romania. Environmental friendly and profitable farmer’s production in five local communities in the Transylvanian region by combining traditional land management and ecosystem services. A project funded by a grant from Norway through the Norway Grants 2009-2014, in the frame of Green Industry Innovation Programme Romania

Fundatia ADEPT, founded in 2004, is a biodiversity conservation and rural development NGO based in Saschiz, Romania. Our aim is to give the High Nature Value Farmed Landscapes of Transylvania and their communities an economic future and relevance in the 21st century without sacrificing their sustainability and productivity. These landscapes are an important model for future productive and sustainable farming in Europe.
